After more than two decades leading procurement and organisational transformation across international institutions, I’ve become less interested in having the right answers than in asking better questions. RESKIND gives me the space to step back from the pace of delivery, reflect on what experience has taught me, and turn those reflections into conversations, frameworks and practical artefacts that others may find useful.

What increasingly interests me is not optimism, but clarity. Where do things really stand? What do the facts reveal? Where are risks quietly accumulating? How do today’s decisions shape tomorrow’s possibilities? I believe seeing reality clearly is one of the most valuable contributions we can make to organisations facing uncertainty.

My work explores what procurement reveals about organisations, communication and people. After eighteen years of international procurement practice across the public and private sectors, I increasingly became interested not only in how procurement is carried out, but in what it produces: relationships, behaviours, cultures and forms of public value.

These type of questions now sit at the centre of my doctoral research. Through research, writing, teaching and initiatives such as Map & Territory, I aim to connect reflective inquiry with professional practice, creating spaces where procurement becomes a lens for thinking about leadership, collaboration and institutional change.

Procurement is not simply a function. It is the infrastructure which enables technical decisions to become social realities.
